Idk... um... it is what you think????

I'm not sure what intention the piece was created with but this hangs along my other suminagashi pieces with a definite idea of my own. This one made me think of male anatomy and the rule it has played in history and our own culture. Out of the three, it is the softest. The blacks and greys not as prominent as the other two. That is my favorite part of it. There's a strong impression but in appearance a complete contrast to what society says a man should be. It is like smoke or a ghost rather than any violent in your face piece that could reflect masculinity. People are always asking me if it should be hung the opposite of what I have it which gives me quite the giggle and causes me to flip it for their next visit.
